Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Are you a mechanical design engineer, with experience in the building services industry, looking to join a market leading company, which operates nationwide, that offers excellent career development opportunities to Principal?

This company was established over four decades ago and since then has grown to be one of the leading building services companies in Greater London. The company offer surveying, design, and inspection solutions to a range of industries including the rail, education, and the heritage sector.

In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to work in a of six others to complete the mechanical aspects of the projects. You will need to visit client sites to gather initial information and an understanding of client needs. You must adhere to a range of industry standards whilst working on multiple projects simultaneously.

The Role:

• 9 - 5:30 Monday - Friday
• Visit client sites across the UK, there will be occasional travel with the role
• Conduct the initial surveying, then the design and support the contractors in completing the projects
• Work in a team of six others in the mechanical team to complete projects
• Attend project meetings to ensure all departments are completing projects at the correct pace
• Maintain an efficient system as you could be working on upwards of five projects at once

The Person:

• Experience in the building services industry
• Full UK Driving License
