The role

• Taking part in research and development
• Producing Bills of Materials
• Liaising with customers
• Developing and building prototypes
• Developing and implementing tests
• Design verification and concept testing through theoretical analysis and mathematical calculations
• 3D modelling
• Producing detailed technical documents

Key Skills

• 3+ years experience in a design environment, ideally experience in electro-mechanical design
• Experience in hand calculations and modelling
• Prototyping and modelling experience
• 3D modelling and calculations
• Good communication skills with customers and suppliers
• Project management experience
• Experience with Solidworks, AutoCAD or similar
• Background with complex machined parts.
