Role – Mechanical Design Engineer

Location – Haverhill, Suffolk

Salary – £35,000 to £40,000 DOE

You will be designing and developing high quality, innovative machinery!

Qualifications and experience required to be successful in this role:

• Degree educated in relevant engineering discipline
• Experience of creating 3D CAD models and 2D detail drawings of new parts, fabrications, and assemblies for electromechanical machinery
• Experience of designing robust user-focused machinery for manual, semi-automated or automated special purpose machinery
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role designing product or industrial equipment for small to medium production volumes
• Experience of creating technical documentation necessary for the specification, manufacture, assembly, testing and support of machinery through the product lifecycle
• In depth understanding of draughting practice including tolerancing
• Experience of designing and conducting practical functional tests, reliability tests and user trials
