Mechanical Design Engineer - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

My client is an internationally established business whom specialise in engineering services to the marine sector. Due to ongoing demand, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established team in Falmouth. The successful Candidate will be mechanically qualified and have experience within a mechanical design position. You must also have a driving licence and be based within commutable distance of Falmouth.

• Working within a team of 5, reporting to the Design Manager
• Producing mechanical design specifications that minimise cost, improve performance and are innovative
• Carrying out surveys
• Ensuring that designs are approved by relevant regulatory authorities
• Providing technical support & advice
• Using AutoCAD and Inventor
• Administrative design duties

• Mechanical Engineering or similar Bachelor's degree
• Experience within a mechanical design position
• Able to demonstrate technical writing ability
• Ideally proficient with AutoCAD and Inventor
• Based within commutable distance of Falmouth

• Salary: £30,000 - £36,000
• Pension
