Maths Teacher - Permanent, full time role starting October 2025 (or sooner if available) - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire

Maths Teacher required for popular, well run Good school in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire - Permanent post paying MPS 1 -6 or UPS 1-3 for those past threshold. Open to ECT's or Maths Graduates also welcome to apply.

Tradewind are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join this popular department and make a positive impact on our students' mathematical understanding and achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons to students in KS 3 & 4
• Continue the schools pursuit of excellence and high academic ability
• Monitor and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
• Benefit from the resources of a well funded school
• Maintain effective communication with parents, sharing updates on students' progress and achievements
• Full time role Monday - Friday 8:30 - 3.30pm offered on a permanent basis from September

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in Mathematics
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education
• Experience teaching maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with students and colleagues
• Innovative and creative approach to inspire students' curiosity and love for maths
• Commitment to supporting the school's values and ethos of academic excellence and inclusively
