We are seeking a Maths Teacher to join a pupil referral unit at a college in Brent, starting from September. This role involves working with KS3 and KS4 students. The ideal candidate will be a strong teacher with experience in special educational needs (SEN). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ideal but not required.

• Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students within a pupil referral unit.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying educational and behavioural challenges.
• Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff and SEN specialists to plan and coordinate lessons.
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Strong teaching ability with a focus on maths.
• Experience working with SEN students.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual student needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• QTS is ideal but not mandatory.
