The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Experience at Key Stage 5 is highly desirable and may open up additional teaching opportunities. Our Newham school is committed to academic excellence, inclusion, and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, effective lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs
• Support and challenge all students to reach their full potential in mathematics
• Use assessment data to inform teaching practice and raise attainment
• Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
• Inspire a genuine love of mathematics in every learner

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject
• Has experience (or is an ECT) with a commitment to professional development
• Brings strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching at all key stages, including KS5
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills
• Values inclusion and thrives in a diverse, urban school setting like Newham
