Job Description :

Milk Education are working with a school in Southwark who are looking for a Mathematics Teacher to join their team for April 2024 until the end of the academic year. The role is Full-Time, Monday To Friday, from hours 8:00 – 15:30. 

The ideal candidate for this role will be deeply passionate about Mathematics, demonstrating strong organizational skills, boundless energy, and a commitment to going the extra mile. Qualified Teacher Status is preferred, but not mandatory. The successful applicant should boast a proven track record of effective teaching across various key stages, firmly believing in the potential for success in Mathematics for all students. This opportunity welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with full support provided for professional development and career advancement. The main responsibilities include delivering high-quality, engaging, and well-differentiated lessons enriched with Assessment for Learning strategies. 

Role Overview:

  • The successful candidate will start their role from January 2024.

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will teach both at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

Requirements for ECT Candidates:

  • ECT (Early Career Teacher) candidates should have completed a PGCE or SCITT course.
