Job Description :

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000p.a.

Hours of Work: Full time, Hybrid working available. (Some international travel will be required for this role).

Kameo Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join a leading provider of connectivity solutions in Cambridgeshire. As well as driving continued development and excellence across the marketing department, you will also work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to deliver measurable success and marketing activity that underpins business objectives and drives sales enablement.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

Campaign Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated global marketing campaigns to end users in key industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define campaign objectives, target audience, messaging, and creative assets to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop detailed campaign plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee the implementation of tactics across various channels, including digital, social media, email, events, and traditional advertising.
  • Monitor campaign performance and KPIs, analyse results, and optimise strategies and tactics to maximize ROI and drive lead generation and customer engagement.

Global Events Planning and Delivery:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of key events, including trade shows, conferences, and webinars, to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and foster customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop engaging event content, presentations, demos, and promotional materials that effectively communicate the business value proposition and drive attendee engagement.
  • Evaluate the success of events based on key metrics such as attendance, lead generation, and customer satisfaction, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Managing Media Relations:

  • Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch compelling stories, news releases, and thought leadership articles to secure positive media coverage and increase brand exposure.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of thought leadership content, including whitepapers, articles, blogs, and customer success stories.
  • Ensure that all external communications are aligned with the businesses brand voice, messaging, and strategic objectives.

Content Generation:

  • Develop and create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, social media posts, advertisements, and sales collateral, to effectively communicate our value proposition and drive customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement social media strategies and plans that align with overall marketing objectives and target audience preferences.

CRM and end user lead management

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify opportunities for enhancing the CRM platform to improve the analysis and segmentation of customer data.
  • Work closely with CRM developers to design and implement new features, functionalities, and integrations that enable advanced data analysis, segmentation, and reporting capabilities within the CRM system.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback on CRM platform enhancements to ensure they meet the needs and expectations of end-users and stakeholders.

Supporting Overall Management of the Marketing Function:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Global Marketing to develop and execute strategic initiatives and programs that support the overall objectives and priorities of the marketing function.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing policies, procedures, and processes to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity across the marketing organisation.

Requirements for the Marketing Manager:

  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven long- and short-form copy-writing and proofing skills across all marketing medium (incl. social, web, collateral).
  • Excellent time management with advanced organisational skills and can deliver to a deadline.
  • Proven management skills, and a passion for technology, data, and measurable success essential.
  • A problem solver who thrives on multi-tasking and derives satisfaction from delivering above and beyond for complex live events.
  • Solid understanding of multi-geographical B2B marketing beneficial.

MarTech know-how:

  • Proven experience with CRM management (MS Dynamics a bonus)
  • Hands on experience with marketing automation and lead nurturing (Click Dimensions a bonus)
  • Evidential experience with content marketing
