Marketing Lead
Salary: £40,000
Location: Kilburn, NW6
Hours: 8am - 5pm
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Lead to join a growing builders merchant team in Kilburn. You’ll work closely with two team members and report to the Head of Marketing, playing a key role in delivering impactful campaigns and keeping our marketing activity aligned with our business goals.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing projects from idea to execution — managing stakeholders, timelines, and progress
- Lead marketing planning for key business initiatives, including new service launches and milestone events
- Create and maintain a clear, strategic 12-month promotions calendar in collaboration with branches and product teams
- Support digital marketing activity, identifying opportunities to improve SEO, social media, email, and web performance
- Brief and manage internal and external designers, copywriters, and printers
- Get hands-on when needed, creating graphics, social media posts, email layouts, and other creative assets
- Monitor campaign results, reporting key insights to help us improve continuously
- Ensure all marketing activity stays aligned with wider business objectives
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar project-led marketing role
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, email, social, SEO, and web
- Confidence in creating project plans and keeping teams on track
- Familiarity with marketing tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Klaviyo, Meta Business Suite, WordPress, or similar
- Proactive, can-do attitude, someone who spots what needs doing and gets stuck in
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Office based position with some travel between our branches when needed (flexibility with working pattern will be considered)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in trade or retail environments
- Working knowledge of analytics tools like GA4 or social media insights
