Job Description :
Marketing Executive £25,000 Permanent Stoke on Trent My client are an established and reputable organisation who are a leading manufacturer and distributer of specialist items. They are one of the area’s biggest and most desirable employers in Staffordshire and across Europe. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Marketing Executive, you will be working within the Marketing Department supporting on B2B and B2B2C marketing communication activities for the internal and external brand brands. You will also be supporting brand awareness across all retailer channels, retail customers, retail customer prospects and industry body stakeholders. Duties to include: Social Media
  • Execute the monthly social media calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Report on trends and target competitor activity
  • Utilise Brandwatch to manage all social media activities including monthly reporting on activity performance to agreed KPIs
 PR
  • Manage the press office utilising Ace Media platform
  • Maintain journalist and target publication database
  • Write copy for forward features and press comments
  • Create press release content to deliver monthly PR calendar via Ace Media. Manage B2B awards entry programme
  • Report on trends and target competitor activity
  • Utilise Ace Media for monthly activity performance reporting to agreed KPIs
 ECRM
  • Execute the monthly email marketing schedule
  • Report on trends and email performance
  • Manage the distribution list, marketing preferences and segmentation
 Website
  • Ensure website is up to date with products and product content
  • Identify and report bug issues with IT via internal ticketing system
  • Work with the web graphic designer and copy writers to create web content for product and brand landing pages
  • Create tickets for simple development changes to improve UX
 B2B2C/Trade Marketing
  • Ensure marketing plans are kept up to date with agreed activity and performance data
  • Support on the execution of agreed marketing plans with key retailers
  • Monitor product reviews and ensure asset compliance across key retailers
 Other
  • Support on design brief writing for B2B activity including POS briefs, sales material & ad hoc requests
  • Maintain the B2B activity planner by updating changes to event dates and product landing dates
  • Liaise with brand directors and sales team to provide marketing support on end of line products
  • Support on marketing input and execution of annual Exhibitions & Shows calendar
  • Coordinate the print, distribution and tracking of in store POS solutions
  • Ensure internal stakeholders such as sales, customer care and the wider marketing team are kept up to date on NPI information and business initiatives.
 In order to be considered for the role:
  • Ideally you will have a creative background, whether through work or study
  • Work with Brand Watch or similar platform (social media platform), Dot Digital (e-mail platform) and Ace Media (PR platform)
  • Work with In-House Design team for content creation.
  • Work with IT on marcomms systems and RKW website
  • Work as part of a Marketing Communications Team and the wider Marketing team including Design, E-Commerce, and Consumer Care
  • Work with National Account, Sales & key partner retailers for sales support
  • Work with Buying on NPI understanding
  • A desire to work within a high pressured, fast paced marketing department
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
