Alma Personnel have been tasked with recruiting for this fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organised Marketing Assistant to join their team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of marketing and communications plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a hands-on role supporting the Director requiring strong collaboration with internal teams to ensure online and offline marketing initiatives drive long-term business success.
Key responsibilities:-
- Support the sales team with CRM reports, sales leads and key information to ensure customers receive relevant information.
- Develop and implement website and online promotion activities.
- Maintain comprehensive product catalogues.
- Ensure all marketing materials are of the highest quality, accurate, and up-to-date with business changes, new product information, and relevant legislation
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling and directing sales and service enquiries via website, email, and phone.
- Write and distribute press releases as required.
- Maintain the CRM system and ensure database is kept up to date
- Maintain the company intranet and communication boards
- Conduct marketing research as required to identify trends and opportunities
- Copywrite promotional materials, literature, packaging, and website content.
- Support design and briefing work for packaging, leaflets, and marketing literature and proof read and arrange print.
- Prepare and coordinate information for exhibitions and events.
Skills and qualifications:-
- Degree in Marketing or equivalent professional qualifications
- Experience in a similar position - at least 1 year B2B role
