Our Client, a specialist lender providing short-term property finance, are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Business Development Executive to drive their marketing initiatives, build strong relationships with brokers, and support sales outreach efforts.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organised, and innovative individual who excels at creating impactful marketing campaigns, fostering intermediary relationships, and proactively pursuing new business opportunities. You will play a key role in enhancing our brand presence, managing corporate events and exhibitions, and supporting the sales team to achieve growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting proactive outreach to new brokers to build and maintain strong intermediary relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Developing and executing marketing and advertising campaigns, including creating engaging social media posts (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter/X) to promote our services and brand.
- Collaborating with design teams or producing design work to create high-quality marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and digital assets.
- Planning and managing multiple corporate event days and exhibitions throughout the year, ensuring professional execution and strong brand representation.
- Supporting the sales team by following up on leads generated through marketing, events, and broker outreach, ensuring swift progression of deals in the pipeline.
- Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner to maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
- Performing ad hoc tasks to support marketing, business development, and sales functions as needed.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in marketing, business development, or sales outreach (experience in the finance or property sector is a plus).
- Strong relationship-building skills with a confident and professional approach to engaging brokers and other stakeholders.
- Creative skills in content creation and social media management, with experience using platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage marketing campaigns, events, and sales outreach simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems or marketing tools.
- Exceptional telephone manner and communication skills, with a proactive and persuasive approach to sales outreach.
- Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
- Highly numerate, literate, and IT literate, with adaptability to new systems and tools.
