MARKETING ADMINISTRATOR 

MONDAY – FRIDAY: 8.30AM – 5PM

£28,000 PER ANNUM

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MARKETING ADMINISTRATOR to join our well-established client based in BIRMINGHAM on a full-time permanent basis.

Day to Day Duties

This is a fantastic role supporting the MARKETING team and the commercial buying department.

The Administrator will be responsible for assisting the commercial buying team and the office administration team with general duties and reception cover.

More specifically the Marketing Administrator will be:

  • Creating the master control sheets
  • Managing the completion of these with the relevant traders
  • Ensuring the final offers are signed off appropriately
  • Arranging the printing and distribution of posters to be displayed in the depots
  • Cutting and pasting sales out data to send to suppliers for invoicing purposes
  • Creating supplier invoices for claims and rebates
  • Sending supplier invoices and adding to the tracking document
  • Liaising with suppliers for new line forms
  • Chasing outstanding orders
  • Liaising with goods in for PO bookings & queries
  • Managing the administration of the webstore, including the banners and promos
  • Design offer leaflets while liaising with third party designers
  • Update digital screens with promotional content while liaising with third party designers
  • Check promotional activity post promotions
  • Proof reading all documents before they are sent out
  • Manage and update the historical database for national and retail promotions

Essential Skills

  • Be able to use initiative
  • Have strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
  • Have a flexible approach to tasks and workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, you will have experience in maintaining good relationships with both internal stakeholders and with our external clients
  • A proactive “can-do” approach, with a desire to work at pace
  • Ability to be creative when reviewing the design of leaflets
  • Ability to work well within a team

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in an FMCG environment
  • Fluent communication either Hindi or Punjabi is beneficial due to role including speaking to customers overseas. 

Training

  • Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
