Market Stall Holder - Responsive Personnel : Job Details

We have 1 Full time and 1 weekend (part time) position available.

Shift: Opportunities available Tuesday to Sunday.

Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week

Pay: £13.25 per hour

About the Role

As a Market Stall Holder, you’ll be setting up stalls, engaging with customers, and ensuring smooth operations from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for transporting goods, managing stock and cash, and creating a welcoming experience for every visitor.

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Must be 21+ (due to insurance requirements for driving company vehicles)
• Comfortable lifting and setting up market stalls
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Physically fit and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards

Key Responsibilities

Before the Event:

• Load and transport goods using company vehicles
• Check vehicle safety and stock quality
• Ensure all items and equipment are packed and ready

At the Event:

• Set up the stall professionally and on time
• Engage with customers and promote products
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment

After the Event:

• Safely pack down and return goods and cash
• Complete paperwork and stock reconciliation
• Lock up site if required (training provided)

General Duties:

• Follow health & safety and food hygiene standards
• Use equipment responsibly
• Support other tasks as needed by the team
