A diversified global trading firm is seeking a Market Access Analyst to administer and optimise logical access to a wide range of trading venues. Operating across major asset classes including equities, futures, options, FX, commodities and energy, the firm combines sophisticated technology with deep market expertise. It also applies its capabilities to non-traditional strategies such as real estate, venture capital and digital assets.
Your Future Role
As a Market Access Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact for managing connectivity across trading venues. You will maintain centralised records, guide support teams, and help manage firmwide risk. This role involves close collaboration with trading desks, developers, prime brokers and clearing members.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer exchange and venue sessions, including risk controls, via customer portals and broker relationships
- Maintain and normalise internal session repositories across global markets
- Define operational runbooks to support a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Work with trading desks to optimise fee structures
- Manage access control lists (ACLs) for trading venues
- Liaise with internal risk teams to ensure compliance and oversight
- Analyse session data and script rules to enrich related platforms
- Maintain a catalogue of execution capabilities across entities and broker relationships
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with regional equity, futures and options exchanges
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Proficiency in managing exchange and market portals
- Understanding of exchange protocols and market colocation sites
- Experience with scripting tools
- Technical knowledge of exchange order processing, matching engines and market data distribution
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals including Unicast, Multicast, IP subnetting/CIDR
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
