Manufacturing Supervisor

We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join a growing engineering business in Stockport. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives on the shop floor and can drive performance, quality, and safety across the team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and developing a manufacturing team to hit production targets
• Driving health & safety and leading by example
• Managing daily team briefs, resource planning and shift handovers
• Tracking performance using KPIs and reporting key metrics
• Supporting quality compliance and continuous improvement activities
• Flexible to support across other business areas when needed

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing
• Background in aerospace, automotive, or mechanical engineering preferred
• Strong knowledge of H&S, scheduling, and resource planning
• Confident using SAP, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• HND or Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering
• IOSH or NEBOSH (desirable)

Experience with:

• Scheduling / production planning
• Resource planning & team development
• Leading shift handovers and team briefs
• Monitoring and reporting KPIs

Hands-on with systems: SAP, MRP, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Flexible to work shifts and support other areas when needed.
