Manufacturing Manager - Anglian Home Improvements : Job Details

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and leading high-performing teams? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Manager to take ownership of our production operations and play a key role in shaping the future of our home improvements manufacturing facility.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production, ensuring that performance targets across Safety, People, Quality, Volume, and Cost are consistently met. You will lead initiatives to optimise manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across manufacturing units to deliver against key performance indicators.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks through process improvements, technology adoption, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles to maximise value, reduce waste, and improve profitability.
• Support and coach Flow Team Leaders and factory teams, promoting engagement and alignment with lean methodologies.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts, ensuring alignment with the manufacturing scorecard and business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless production flow and effective capacity utilisation.

About You:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, ideally within the home improvements or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing systems and continuous improvement practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to leadership.
