Role Summary

As part of the Senior Management Team, the Manufacturing Manager ensures the efficient operation of Jade’s manufacturing processes—people, equipment, and systems—delivering quality parts on time for tooling, OEM machinery, subcontract work, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee CNC and manual machines (3/4/5 axis milling, turning, EDM).

  • Plan and prioritize workloads for optimal machine use and on-time delivery.

  • Manage projects, report on progress, and improve production processes.

  • Analyze production performance, reduce downtime, improve lead times.

  • Liaise with Design to ensure accurate drawings and production readiness.

  • Manage tooling and work-holding requirements, including inventory control.

  • Coordinate with suppliers for equipment, stock, and competitive pricing.

  • Ensure product quality through inspections and manage non-conformance reports.

  • Use MRP systems to track orders and assist with quotations and job costing.

  • Lead continuous improvement and TPM initiatives, including SOPs and CAPEX planning.

  • Oversee machine maintenance and breakdown recovery.

  • Align manufacturing software with design tools and 3D capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and health & safety requirements.

  • Manage and develop the manufacturing team—task allocation, training, performance.

  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspaces.

Person Profile

Technical Skills

  • Strong CNC and machining knowledge

  • Effective people leadership and performance management

  • Engineering drawing interpretation

  • Programming experience preferred

  • Experience with manufacturing software and systems

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Critical thinker with project management ability

  • Leadership and customer focus

  • Organized, responsible, and IT literate

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years in manufacturing, 5+ in leadership

  • Familiar with modern machining, tooling, and process improvement

  • Forklift and first aid experience a plus

  • Relevant vocational or professional qualifications preferred

Salary : 65000 - 70000
