Your new role
- Carry out regular checks and maintenance on electrical systems
- Fix electrical faults and breakdowns quickly
- Install and upgrade electrical equipment when needed
- Follow safety rules and keep records of work done
- Work with other teams to reduce downtime
- Suggest improvements to make systems more reliable
- Experience with mechanical systems is beneficial.
What you'll need to succeed
- Electrical engineering qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree) - desired but not essential.
- Experience working with electrical systems in a factory or industrial setting
- Good understanding of motors, control panels, and PLCs
- Able to read technical diagrams
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Work on a shift pattern of 4 on (days 6am to 6pm) / 4 off / 4 on (nights 6pm to 6am)
What you'll get in return
