Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer Electrical - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new role

• Carry out regular checks and maintenance on electrical systems
• Fix electrical faults and breakdowns quickly
• Install and upgrade electrical equipment when needed
• Follow safety rules and keep records of work done
• Work with other teams to reduce downtime
• Suggest improvements to make systems more reliable
• Experience with mechanical systems is beneficial.

What you'll need to succeed

• Electrical engineering qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree) - desired but not essential.
• Experience working with electrical systems in a factory or industrial setting
• Good understanding of motors, control panels, and PLCs
• Able to read technical diagrams
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Work on a shift pattern of 4 on (days 6am to 6pm) / 4 off / 4 on (nights 6pm to 6am)

What you'll get in return

• £25 / £27 per hour on days.
