Manual Operator - The One Group : Job Details

Production Operator | £31k | Northampton | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract + 6 Month Extension Option (£33.8k) | Training Provided

We're hiring Production Operators to support our production team in creating and checking precision components. This is a hands-on role working with manual tools and machines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Your Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Operate hand tools and manual equipment (e.g. lathes, linishers)
• Carry out tasks like broddling, Rosler processing, and crank finishing
• Perform sub-assembly work including handling of component kits
• Laser mark/etch components as required
• Inspect parts during the production process
• Ensure components meet quality standards before moving to the next stage
• Follow clear work instructions and adhere to processes at all times
• Record production data and downtime accurately
• Work efficiently to meet daily/weekly output targets
• Communicate progress and any issues to team leaders
• Support improvements in production methods and processes
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
• Work as part of a team in a structured production environment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Automotive or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not essential - training will be provided

Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly):Week 1

• Mon-Thurs: 06:00-14:00
• Fri: 06:00-13:00

Week 2

• Mon-Thurs: 14:00-22:00
• Fri: 13:00-20:00
