FRP Advisory (Isle of Man) Ltd is a leading restructuring and advisory firm on the Isle of Man part of FRP Advisory Group.

About the role

We are seeking to recruit a highly talented insolvency/advisory professional to work within an existing team.

You will already have significant experience in a restructuring and/or advisory business. You will be professionally qualified with a relevant qualification. You will have excellent people management and communication skills and be able to develop relationships both internally and externally. You will be highly accomplished at report writing with meticulous attention to detail and you will also be highly risk aware.

What will you do?

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously including advisory and insolvency assignments.
• Team oversight including ensuring projects and cases are progressed appropriately on timeframe and budget.
• Ensuring proper engagement records are kept to exacting standards.
• Provide assistance to the Partner on specific projects.
• Senior point of contact for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key intermediaries.

Essential knowledge and qualifications

The role requires the following skills at a minimum:

• Relevant Honours degree
• ACA, ACCA or similar professional qualification
• 5-10 years post qualification experience
• Prior insolvency and/or advisory experience in professional practice
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Advanced report writing skills
• Commercially astute.
