We are working with a Top 20 accountancy practice that's looking for a proactive and driven individual to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a client portfolio while also leading and developing a high-performing team.What You'll Do:

  • Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of SME clients, providing tailored business advice and accounting solutions
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accountants and support staff, ensuring high standards of work and professional development.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for your clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while identifying opportunities to deliver additional services.
  • Project Management: Ensure that all client deliverables are met within deadlines, and manage projects related to financial reporting, statutory accounts, and year-end compliance.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with senior management to help drive business development initiatives, grow existing client relationships, and attract new business opportunities.

What You'll Need:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in a practice environment.
  • Strong track record of working within a business services department in your career to date
  • Proven experience in managing a team and developing individuals to reach their full potential.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality services on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive and commercial mindset, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and add value to your clients.
  • Strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive, team-focused culture.
