We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part-qualified Management Accountant to join one of London's most exciting property and real estate businesses. The role focuses on delivering accurate month-end reporting for a variety of key real estate assets within the group.

The business is a well-established organisation within the property industry, with extensive reach across both commercial and residential real estate. They manage a number of iconic assets across Central London, having long cemented themselves within the industry.
Description
You will assist the Senior Management Accountant in preparing management accounts for specific entities within the residential and commercial property portfolios. In addition, you will support the wider finance team in developing a best-in-class finance function as the Group's structure, systems, and processes continue to evolve.
- Assist with the month-end close process for assigned entities, ensuring SAP accurately reflects all business operations and transactions.
- Support management account review meetings with the FP&A team, ensuring variance analysis and commentary effectively capture entity and operational performance.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including deferred and accrued revenue schedules, cost accruals, prepayment schedules, bank reconciliations, investment property schedules, and comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including managing agents, property and asset managers, and the wider finance team.
- Review and challenge purchase requisitions and business cases raised by the business, ensuring accuracy in SAP expenditure coding.
- Support arrears reporting, bad debt provisioning, and write-offs.
- Prepare audit working papers and assist with audit queries in collaboration with the Financial Accounting team.
- Support tax-related queries in coordination with the internal tax team.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen reconciliations, and introduce effective financial controls.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Management Accountant and wider Accounting team, including project assistance and holiday cover.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Part-qualified/QBE with 2-3 years experience within a management accounting role.
- Experience within the property space is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
