Management Accountant - part qualified/ QBE

Location: Trafford - hybrid working

Salary: up to circa £40,000

We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a well-established business based in Trafford, on a permanent basis.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and COO to provide financial data and reports to management, to aid with decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Finance Manager and COO to support with implementing a more robust month end reporting process, including budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Presentation of reports to management in a timely manner
• Provision of ad hoc analysis to aid with cost reduction and to improve financial reporting
• Preparation, submission and payment of quarterly tax returns
• Support with the external audit
• Assist the wider team with any finance queries

Skills & attributes:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Good communication
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar accountant role
