Management Accountant - Part or Fully Qualified - PP Associates : Job Details

PP Associates are delighted to be supporting a private equity backed £17m turnover business to find a driven, progressive Management Accountant to join their team.

In this Management Accountant role, you will have every opportunity to progress as the role aligns with your professional studies. Long-term you will have the chance to step into the Financial Controller role. You will get great exposure working the private-equity firm, and you will be able to complete your qualification here.

Responsibilities:

• Producing monthly management accounts and month-end close
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Calculating accruals and prepayments
• Posting journals and maintaining fixed assets
• Producing financial reports, analysing and reporting revenue
• Calculating storage, rebates, and work in progress
• Completing slides for the board packs
• Collating and submitting payroll data to the external payroll provider
• Processing new starters, leavers, and resolving pay queries efficiently
• Reconciling, submitting, and paying PAYE, pension contributions, and P11D's
• Maintaining and paying attachment of earnings

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Minimum part-qualified accountant, or fully qualified
• Experience of management accounts, month-end process, and payroll
• Strong desire to progress
• Self-motivated and driven
• Diligent
• Excellent communicator

Salary and Benefits:
