Management Accountant - Manufacturing - KG Services LTD : Job Details

Our client a well respected manufacturing company is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant.

You will be either qualified or part qualified and be ambitious

The client is exporting to over 30 markets in the Agricultural, Industrial, and Commercial sectors around the globe

Currently turning over £10m, the business is looking to increase that to £17.5m over the next 5 years by organically growing the 3 divisions through product innovation and targeting new territories.

You will be energetic and passionate, with a continuous improvement ethos and the determination to implement change that result in cost savings and efficiencies.

You will be a hands-on team player that has the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels, and who has the ambition to grow and develop as the company does.

You will be working within, and managing, a small finance team which its key output is the company’s management reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Monthly Management Reporting inc. Financial Statements, KPI’s, Sales & GM Analysis
• Preparation and posting of prepayments, accruals, and other monthly journals
• Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Project Costing maintenance and margin analysis
• Responsibility of the Fixed Asset Register and monthly depreciation
• Foreign currency exchange transactions and currency valuations
• Monthly Payroll for approximately 55 employees
• Year-end payroll reporting including preparation of P11Ds
• UK & Dutch VAT preparation and submission
• Manage Accounts Assistants responsible for AR & AP
• Cover for finance duties including other month end reporting tasks.
• Assisting with the year-end accounts process including audit and tax
• Business Partnering to assist in the implementation of the 5 Year strategic objectives.
