Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes effectively.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical skills in accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in using financial software and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in the business services industry is advantageous.
