Description

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying key trends and variances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Manage cash flow and oversee balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support year-end audit processes by providing required documentation and analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance department.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or Qualified by Experience
• Proven experience in financial reporting and management accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
• An organised and detail-oriented approach to work.
