Management Accountant - Mitchell Adam : Job Details

Are you a qualified or part-qualified accountant with a passion for manufacturing and cost control? A growing and dynamic manufacturing business in Yardley is seeking a Cost / Manufacturing Accountant to take ownership of product costing, inventory management, and production analysis, supporting operational and commercial decisions across the business.

What you'll do:

• Prepare accurate product and job costing, analysing variances and highlighting key insights.

• Support production teams with costing, stock valuation, and efficiency reporting.

• Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting.

• Provide timely management information to support pricing, margin analysis, and decision-making.

• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve processes, reporting, and systems.

• Assist with month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial controls.

What we're looking for:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of costing, variance analysis, and inventory control.

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to provide actionable insights to the business.

• Comfortable working collaboratively with operations, production, and finance teams.

• Hands-on, proactive, and keen to drive process improvements and efficiency.
