Management Accountant - Ascent Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to exclusively support a market-leading business in South Manchester, looking for a Management Accountant to join on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract (with a good potential to go permanent)

Key Duties:

• Month-end close and reconciliations across multiple entities
• Balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis
• Revenue recognition, prepayments, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations
• Supporting audits, statutory accounts, and system improvements
• Producing monthly TBs, working papers, and analysis for stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

• AAT Qualified, Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or QBE
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
• Previous Management Accountant experience
• Organised, analytical, and able to work to tight deadlines

Salary and key benefits:

• Salary circa £40,000
• Hybrid & flexible working
