Management Accountant | Leading E-commerce & Retail Group | Central London (Hybrid) | £60,000-£65,000

We're partnering with a high-growth e-commerce and retail group known for pace, innovation, and a sharp consumer focus. They're hiring a commercially minded Management Accountant to join their Central London finance team.

?? About the Position

As Management Accountant, you'll be more than just "closing the books" - you'll be a trusted partner helping the business understand its performance and shape its future growth. Day-to-day, you'll:

• Own the month-end process, producing accurate, timely management accounts that drive action.
• Deliver sharp P&L analysis, surfacing trends and explaining variances to senior stakeholders.
• Safeguard balance sheet integrity with watertight reconciliations and clear ownership.
• Lead on VAT, PAYE and statutory reporting so the business stays fully compliant.
• Partner with commercial and operations teams to improve cost control and performance visibility.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with data-led insight and healthy challenge.
• Streamline reporting and processes, enhancing controls and efficiency across finance.
• Contribute to wider projects (systems/reporting enhancements, new initiatives) that support growth.

?? What we're looking for

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Extensive management accounting experience, as well as solid exposure to financial accounting.
• Experience working with stock/inventory or product-based environments.
• Previous exposure to e-commerce, retail, or FMCG is highly desired.
• Confident communicator who can translate finance for non-finance stakeholders.
