Management AccountantLocation: Bolton (Hybrid – 4 days office / 1 day WFH)Salary: Circa  £50,000 + BenefitsA fast-growing, private equity-backed multi-site business is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team. With nearly 30 locations across the UK, the business is scaling rapidly through acquisition and development, aiming to become the leading player in a highly fragmented sector.The RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or someone making their first move from practice into industry.Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis)
• Support in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Financial reporting and board pack preparation
• KPI tracking and performance analysis
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and regulatory standards
• Identify and drive improvements in systems and processes
• Oversight and development of 1 Accounts Assistant
• Ad-hoc support across wider group finance, including involvement with a sister company

Ideal Candidate

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded
• Excellent communication and Excel skills
• Experience with multi-entity or group structures is desirable but not essentiaL
