Management Accountant | Burnley | £40-45k

Talentedge North is supporting a manufacturing business in Burnley in finding a driven Management Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will be reporting into the Finance Manager, solely running the accounts for one company within the group, while assisting with other companies during busy or holiday periods.

This is a hands-on accounting role suited to an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role would suit someone with experience of working within manufacturing (preferable) and is QBE or at least part-qualified.

Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver the monthly management accounts process, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying any variances
• Maintain fixed asset registers, intercompany reconciliations, and stock valuations
• Assist with reporting
• Support the year-end audit process and preparation of statutory accounts
• Prepare VAT returns and other regulatory submissions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams e.g., operations, sales, logistics, and procurement to ensure accurate cost accounting, inventory control and invoice submission
• Participate in ongoing finance transformation, including a transition to Sage 200
