Management Accountant - Butler Rose : Job Details

Management Accountant Location: Cinderford, Gloucestershire Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-siteWe are looking for an experienced and driven Management Accountant to join a well-established, fast-growing industrial group with a truly global footprint and exciting progression opportunities. This role offers clear development to Finance Manager and beyond, along with potential study support. Your main responsibilities will include: * Maintaining and reconciling the cashbook * Preparing weekly and monthly supplier payment runs for authorisation * Credit control, including resolving outstanding queries * Assisting with purchasing and raising purchase orders * Preparing and posting journal entries * Producing month-end management accounts * Maintaining the fixed assets register * Costing products accurately * Planning and attending stock counts and valuations * Submitting quarterly VAT returns * Ad-hoc finance duties as required About You: * AAT Level 4 qualified, or qualified by experience, with at least 2 year's manufacturing sector experience * Skilled in Sage 50 and confident with Microsoft Office * Highly motivated, analytical, and able to work independently and as part of a team * Organised, accurate, and able to meet deadlines under pressure What's on Offer: * Progression to Finance Manager and beyond* £42,000 - £50,000 salary (DOE) * 3% employer pension contribution * 23 days holiday + bank holidays * Life insurance benefit * On-site parking Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmIf you're ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic, growing group, we'd love to hear from you.
