Michael Page are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients dynamic finance team in Manchester. You'll play a key role in delivering insightful financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving business performance.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis

• Partner with department heads to provide financial insights and support

• Monitor budgets and ensure financial controls are maintained

• Support year-end audit and statutory reporting processes

• Continuously improve reporting processes and tools

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will have:

• Part-qualified (ACCA or CIMA) with strong accounting knowledge

• Proven experience in a similar management accounting role

• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across departments
