Job vacancy for a Management Accountant (part or newly qualified)

Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

We’re working exclusively with a high-growth, forward-thinking business in the digital sector to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious finance team at a company that is shaping the future of its industry.

This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-driven professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and providing commercial insight. You’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting under FRS 102, managing the monthly billing cycle, and driving improvements across finance operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the month-end process, producing management accounts
• Prepare 13-week cashflow forecasts
• Manage the billing cycle, cancellations, and final invoicing
• Ensure commission and bonus payments are calculated and processed accurately
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with audit processes
• Support statutory accounts preparation, annual budgeting, and revenue forecasting
• Produce board reports and provide commercial analysis to explain variances
• Review and enhance finance processes, driving efficiency and cost savings

What we’re looking for:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA (or equivalent)
• Experience preparing management accounts
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience in the billing cycle and preparing VAT returns
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
