My client a leading global professional services firm with a strong presence across multiple continents are currently looking for a part qualified Management Accountant to join their busy team in London. Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs for operational and corporate entities within the group.
- Manage the Work in Progress (WIP) process and revenue recognition.
- Handle accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and fixed assets.
- Deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary.
- Calculate and report key KPIs for the group.
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the group.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- Manage supplier onboarding and compliance.
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and tools.
- Support the automation and streamlining of finance processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Engage in other ad hoc projects as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- 1–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a group or multi-entity environment.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems (experience with an ERP is a plus).
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
