Are you ready to take full ownership of a finance function in a thriving small business? A fantastic opportunity has opened up in Redhill for a hands-on Management Accountant to join a close-knit team of 12, reporting directly to the on-site Operations Director.This is a dynamic, all-encompassing role where you’ll be the heartbeat of the finance department – overseeing everything from transactional duties to month-end reporting, payroll, and VAT returns. What You’ll Be Doing:Finance Operations & Oversight•    Lead day-to-day finance activities using Sage 200 and a bespoke freight management system•    Supervise a small office-based team, ensuring smooth running of both sales and purchase ledger functions•    Manage credit control, customer onboarding, and payment chasing with confidence and professionalism•    Handle supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and payment scheduling•    Take charge of VAT returns, payroll, and monthly management accountsReporting & Reconciliation•    Prepare aged debt reports and customer chasing logs•    Reconcile bank and supplier statements•    Support weekly payment runs and ensure accurate allocation of payments________________________________________Who We’re Looking For:•    QBE, AAT qualified, or a stopped studier of ACCA/CIMA•    Strong experience in management accounts and transactional finance•    Confident communicator with a proactive mindset•    Skilled in Excel and familiar with Sage 200 (or similar systems)•    Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the industry•    A true team player with a positive attitude and a hands-on approach________________________________________Why You’ll Love It Here:•    Be part of a supportive and collaborative team•    Enjoy autonomy and variety in your day-to-day work•    Make a real difference in a growing business•    Competitive salary and long-term career potential
