Management Accountant - RG Consultancy Ltd : Job Details

RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing wholesale and distribution company based in Macclesfield who are recruiting a Management Accountant due to company growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Management Accountant to join a great company at an exciting time for the business. You will work closely with and support the Finance Manager on a daily basis.

The Role

• To support the finance manager with the overseeing and management of the finance department
• Monthly preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of monthly packs for directors and business managers
• Balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany accounts
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
• Support the business and development of financial awareness to non-financial employees

The Person

• At least 2 years experience as an assistant/management accountant
• Part CIMA/ACCA qualified and studying to become fully qualified
• The right candidate will be commercially aware
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy
