As Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to support operational performance and strategic decision-making.It will be a a varied role with duties to include: - 

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Partner with production and operational teams to analyse cost drivers and improve efficiency
• Maintain standard costing models and analyse manufacturing variances
• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
• Provide support during audits and liaise with external accountants as needed
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and financial controls

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences: - 

• Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) accountant
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment would be highly desirable
• Good understanding of cost accounting and production processes Provide support during audits and liaise with external accountants as needed
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Sage, or similar)
• Proactive, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
