Management Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a specialist Sales and Distribution business based in Milton Keynes.

The Role

As Management Accountant you will support the Head of Finance with the production of regular financial and management reporting across the UK. Day to day duties will consist of:

• Month end close activities including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, provisions and prepayment calculations
• Production of the monthly sales and margin flash reporting
• Responsibility for the completion of the monthly management accounts; reviewing variances to budget and prior year as well as providing commentary to stakeholders
• Cost reporting
• Project costing
• Assisting with year end close and preparation of statutory accounts
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget and forecasts
• Raising manual invoices and purchase orders
• VAT returns
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Management of employee expenses, corresponding payment runs and any other ad-hoc payments as required

Your Profile

You will be a Qualified Accountant or Finalist looking for a new development opportunity covering core management accounting duties and more commercial analysis work with senior stakeholder management.

Salary and Benefits

Role of Management Accountant in Milton Keynes is working on a Hybrid basis 3 days in the office and a salary of £40-50K + Benefits
