Management Accountant - Reed : Job Details

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a company in Halifax who are looking for a Management Accountant/Finance Manager for a full-time, office based position. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. They are looking for someone who is hands on and can hit the ground running.  

Location: HalifaxSalary: £35k - £40K FTE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Management Accounts including preparing journals for upload
• Balance sheet reconciliations including investigating balances and resolving issues
• Vat reconciliation and MTD
• Management of Finance administrator
• Bank Reconciliations – managing that they are done correctly, on time and reviewing them.
• Reviewing of Weekly Sales sheets, investigating differences, challenging any issues
• Reviewing Aged Debtor and Creditors and resolving issues arising to ensure timely payment/collection.
• Managing the payment process for creditors
• Managing the process for payroll
• Managing the Bank

You will need to demonstrate:

• Good working knowledge of all-around accounts duties (inc. management accounts)
• Willingness to get stuck in
• Sage experience
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
