Management Accountant - MacKenzie King : Job Details

MacKenzie King are looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing business with a focus on creating a sustainable future for all. As a Qualified Management Accountant you will report into a Financial Controller and provide support in the preparation of management accounts and all aspects of the month end accounting process, as well as providing active support in meeting specific reporting requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for your allocated division of the business
• Preparation of statutory accounts and supporting audit files
• Reconciliation of control accounts and general ledger entries
• Preparation of annual budget
• Supporting management teams to maintain budgetary control
• Ensure cashflow forecasts are well managed
• Provide cover and deal with external supplier queries, whilst ensuring the correct process is followed from purchase order to payment
• Provide active support in ensuring the Group continue to meet the conditions of ongoing sustainability criteria and the annual sustainability audit requirements
• Provide cover in the absence of the Assistant Management Accountants and Accounts Assistants
• Supervise and assist in the training and development needs of Accounts Assistants

Key Skills & Attributes:

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
• Strong IT skills to include Microsoft Excel
• Ability to organise and manage workload to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Strong communication skills to communicate with both internal and external customers
