Management Accountant - Gleeson Recruitment Group : Job Details

Looking to develop your FP&A experience as a first-mover?Or perhaps you're an experienced Management Accountant who is looking for more flexibility, this could be just the thing for you!You're at that point now where you're looking for a challenge, something fast paced. A role where you will be considered a business partner to both UK and overseas businesses and subsidiaries, a benefit to the business not a blocker.You already know what it takes to be a Management Accountant and will be a fully qualified accountant, so we don't need to list the day to day functions.Yes you'll do the reporting, balance sheet reconciliation and control but you'll also be working closely with the divisional business leaders to review cost and improve their financial performance.You will enable the business to make honest and informed decisions through robust management reporting and governance. You will effectively be the Finance team's number two, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.This family owned business have cornered their area of FMCG, working with global suppliers and providing the products to UK household names, think major supermarket brands and even the MoD.They pride themselves on enabling customers to access the supply market more effectively, providing a competitive advantage through innovation. This runs through their culture and they are always striving to improve their processes, seeking efficiency's and new opportunities for success.To be considered for this role you must have the following:

• A formal accounting qualification
• Management Accounts experience (this can be your first qualified role)
• Be an Excel whizz, Look-ups and Pivots at a minimum

It would be great if you have:

• Experience of ERP systems. Ideally Navision or Business Central

This is a hybrid role and you will need to attend one of the offices 3 days per week. Ideally Redhill, Surrey or Runcorn, Cheshire.For experienced hires, compressed or part-time hours can be considered.
