Job Description :

LSL is a leading provider of estate agency franchise services in the UK, boasting a network spanning over 300 territories.

Our LSL Franchising Finance Team are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a full time, permenant basis, based at our office in Newcastle.

You'll be responsible for generating accurate management accounts and supporting the finance team in auditing. Your role will ensure best-in-class service delivery to Franchisees, providing value-added support to senior management and contributing to cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, produce, and review management accounts against forecasts and budgets.
  • Contribute to company-wide financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Review Franchisee billing/self-billing before issuance.
  • Produce ad hoc reports as required.
  • Liaise with operational management and Franchisees to support growth strategy delivery.
  • Mentor junior team members to maintain an ambitious and high-performing Finance team.

Requirements:

  • Honesty, integrity, and financial soundness.
  • Relevant experience in large/corporate organizations.
  • Experience in producing statutory accounts.
  • Knowledge of the SUN accounts system preferred.
  • Experience leading teams and managing people.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service orientation.
  • Qualification as a Chartered Accountant/CIMA.
