Management Accountant - MRK Associates : Job Details

Based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, our client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to work hybrid after their first month of training onsite.

This job would suit someone with previous experience of the full month end process, you will facilitate the smooth running of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and to provide additional support to the rest of the department as necessary.

The successful individual will have good IT and computer literacy skills, particularly proficiency with Excel. They must have good verbal and written communication skills. A high level of accuracy / attention to detail is important for this role. Experience using SAP would be useful, but not essential.

Duties will include:

• Production of the month end pack
• Processing weekly payroll & Payroll reconciliation
• Analysis and reporting of distribution costs
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Daily postings to general ledger from the bank statement
• Bank reconciliations
• Posting of journals (prepayments, accruals, overriders, distribution etc,)
• Agree intercompany balances
• Cash book management
• Analysis and reporting of customer overrider costs
• VAT returns, EC analysis
• Journal postings to SAP
• Raise PO's as necessary
• Code and post approved invoices
