Management Accountant - Marc Daniels : Job Details

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and professional Management Accountant to join a global company based in Hounslow on a 3 x month contract. This is an immediate requirement offering a competitive day rate and a hybrid working pattern with 3 x days in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Processing / reviewing of monthly journals, accruals and prepayments
• Balancing of Intercompany accounts with transactional teams, other management accounts and group entities
• Management of audit process, developing relationships with external auditors
• Adhering to and developing internal financial controls, improving processes where necessary
• Working closely with individual P&L owners to ensure accurate monthly reporting and in line with budget
• Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company
• Working closely with the transactional accounting team and guiding them on key coding corrections you would like in place

Requirements:

• Qualified with an underlying degree in Finance / Accounting
• Part of qualified CIMA or ACCA
• Background in transactional heavy organisations e.g. Cargo / Aviation industry, industrial services or manufacturing
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Commercial and business awareness
• Strong excel and modelling skills
