What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department and management team. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the production of monthly management accounts, maintaining the fixed asset register, reconciling monthly movements of policies and supporting with various accounting procedures. You will also be involved in preparing quarterly VAT return reports, supporting statutory audit requests, undertaking variance analysis, and providing support with transactional finance functions. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Assist in the production of monthly management accounts within agreed timescalesMaintain the fixed asset register and post journals from policy software onto accounting softwareReconcile monthly movement of policies and intercompany imbalances, investigating any variancesSupport with the implementation of accounting procedures and monthly balance sheet controlsProduce quarterly VAT return reports and workings in preparation for completion by Management AccountantSupport the Management Accountant with statutory audit requestsUndertake variance analysis and support with transactional finance functions

What you bring:
