Management Accountant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyA forward-thinking professional services company in Chichester are looking for a management accountant to join their small, friendly team. Your new roleYour role will be an addition to the finance team to ensure support across several business areas, such as:

• Management of the end-to-end accounting processes from data entry through to financial reporting
• Management of both Sales & Purchase Ledgers
• Bank reconciliations
• Taking ownership of the Trial Balance processes ensuring accuracy throughout.
• Preparation and review of financial statements ensuring compliance and accounting standards are adhered to.
• Performing month-end procedures, closing activities including journal entries and accruals.
• Management of budgeting and analysis of budget variances
• Cash flow management including preparation of cash flow forecasts and reports for management.

What you'll need to succeed

• Full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working in a UK finance team
• Experience working within a similar role
• Professional finance qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA are preferred, but not necessary.
